Established in 2014 - RMD Carpentry Services provides an affordable, professional, reliable service in Chandler's Ford, Winchester, Southampton and the surrounding areas. From working on barns in Australia to fitting kitchens and hanging doors in Chandler's Ford - I have taken my craft around the world and take pride in every job striving for perfection in both workmanship and service.

General Carpentry

Anything from 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry to just hanging pictures or curtain poles. A wide range of services available to suit your needs.

Kitchen Installation

From supply and fit, to a fit only installation. We are all you need to fit your dream kitchen. Plumbing, gas, electrics, plastering, flooring and decorating works are also all available using qualified, professional, local trades.

Bespoke Work

This can just start out as a sketch on paper or a particular space in a room. Struggling to find something standard to fit? Dreams and ideas can be made into reality - any shape or size. Anything is possible.

Wall Fixtures

A service to simply hang pictures, mirrors, fit shelves, curtain poles or build flat packed furniture that you have supplied and is ready to be fitted, is also available. Just give us a call.

Fencing

This can range from a simple fence post or panel replacement, to a complete run of new fencing. All types of fencing are available, lap panels, feather edge close board panels, post and rail fencing even bespoke fencing.

Although not a large job it required patience and accuracy which Richard carried out with great care and attention to detail. The installation was in a tricky location which required several mitred joints. Finished job spectacular. Richard is very courteous and I would highly recommend his services.

New internal doors, cupboard and boxing in pipes

Richard has completed a wide range of carpentry jobs for us over the last year. His workmanship is outstanding with excellent attention to detail. He boxed in central heating pipes throughout the downstairs, changed the size of a doorway, built a stud wall to make two rooms from one, fitted new doors throughout the house, built a broom cupboard in the hall, blocked off a fireplace. Great communication.

Richard did an excellent job. He advised us that the stud partition wall would need additional framework to support the expected load of the new shelving unit - he completed the work very well. We are very happy with the results.

Kitchen Install

A client requested a spacious, practical, open planned kitchen with natural oak. The result being just that - A fantastic, light and airy, family friendly, sociable space which is now the most used room in the house.

Door Fitting

My client wanted to change all their internal doors from a tired dated dark wood to a stunning, eye pleasing oak veneered door. And what a change it has made to their home.

Kitchen Install

A client wanted a modern, usable kitchen that was full of storage and included an island. Once completed this kitchen was an amazing transformation from what my client had before.

Bespoke Fireplace

My client had purchased an electric fire and hearth but only had a sketch on paper with an idea for a surround. A complete bespoke project brought to life from paper. Working closely with my client, checking details and progress along the way, we achieved the exact look she was after.
